Note: Pursuant to §5 Abs. 1 Nr. 2 DDG, fast electronic contact and direct communication are ensured via the e-mail address together with the contact form on this website. In line with ECJ case law (C-298/07), a telephone number is not mandatory where another means of fast, direct communication is offered.

Pursuant to §19 UStG (Kleinunternehmerregelung — small-business scheme), no value added tax is shown on invoices. Accordingly, no VAT identification number within the meaning of §27a UStG / §5 Abs. 1 Nr. 6 DDG has been issued.

Pursuant to §5 Abs. 1 Nr. 5 DDG and §2 Nr. 6 of the German Services Information Regulation (Dienstleistungs-Informationspflichten-Verordnung, DL-InfoV):

Apuna operates as a freiberufliches Ingenieurbüro. The protected title "Ingenieur" is a regulated professional designation within the meaning of the applicable state Engineers Act (Ingenieurgesetz) of 68159 Mannheim's Bundesland.

Note: The Inhaber holds a recognised engineering degree and carries the protected title "Ingenieur" (verliehen in Deutschland). Misuse of the protected title constitutes an Ordnungswidrigkeit under the applicable Ingenieurgesetz.

Applicable professional rules: The Ingenieurgesetz of Baden-Württemberg (the state in which 68159 Mannheim is located) governs the protected title "Ingenieur". It is publicly accessible via the Baden-Württemberg state law portal (landesrecht-bw.de). No chamber (Kammer) membership is required for the freelance engineering and software work of the Büro, and the Büro does not use the title "Beratender Ingenieur".

Pursuant to §18 Abs. 2 of the Interstate Media Treaty (Medienstaatsvertrag, MStV):

Note: §18 Abs. 2 MStV strictly applies to telemedia offerings with journalistic-editorial content. For a consultancy website that does not curate periodical or opinion-forming content in the editorial sense, this disclosure is precautionary. Its inclusion is harmless and is recommended by media authorities in cases of doubt.

Apuna is not willing and not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle) within the meaning of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz, VSBG).

Note on the former EU ODR platform: The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr was permanently shut down on 20 July 2025 pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 of 19 December 2024. No link to that platform is included here; doing so after that date constitutes a misleading reference under German competition law (UWG) and is subject to cease-and-desist action.

Note on VSBG obligation: The negative declaration above is included as a precautionary measure and for transparency. Apuna does not participate in consumer dispute resolution proceedings.
